
The SPC Sanctuary Choir meets at 7:30 each Wednesday night in the Sanctuary. They are always looking for energetic people to join them and become a part of this ministry. Contact our Director of Music, David Dillard, to learn more about becoming a part of the Sanctuary Choir.

The Gold Rush Gang is a group of active senior adults, especially for the golden-agers 50 and up, who stay busy with monthly activities and outings such as picnics, day trips, and fellowship gatherings. Upcoming events include: Jan 10-Chili Luncheon; Feb 14-Valentine Luncheon; Mar 13-IMAX & Manuel's; Apr 10-Spivey Hall & O'Charley's; May 8-Bulloch Home & Lunch; June 19-The Palms & Lunch; July 10-Lunch at Phil's & Bingo; August-no activity; Sept & Oct to be announced later; Nov 13-Annual Potluck & Meeting; Dec 9-Christmas Luncheon. The Presbyterian Women currently have two active circles. Both circles are using the 2011-2012 Presbyterian Horizons Bible Study entitled: "Confessing The Beatitudes."
Circle #1 meets the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00. The ladies enjoy a time of fellowship together before beginning their Bible Study. Circle #2 meets the first Wednesday evening of each month at 6:15 in the Parlor. Sally Smith and Lee Hart serve as the co-leaders for Circle #2.
Thursday Morning Ladies Bible Study - Our Thursday morning Bible Study will resume on January 11 at 10:00 am in the Conference Room. We will kick off the year with a twelve week study called "Getting The Most Our of Christian Displines." The book is divided into three sections: (1) Connecting With God; (2) Reaching Out To Others; and (3) Staying on Track. We will be ordering the books very soon. The Youth Group, also known as "SPY" (Stockbridge Presbyterian Youth), is under the leadership of Stephanie Dunn, our Youth Director. The youth enjoy a variety of activities throughout the month. They take an active part in the worship by serving as the liturgist once a month. They participating in outreach ministries, missions, and many community events.
The SPY's are already looking forward to their summer mission trip/retreat. A variety of fundraisers are planned to help raise the needed funds, but opportunity is always given for individuals to support a youth in mission. Four community groups currently utilize the Stockbridge Presbyterian Church facility: Boy Scout Troop #65, Alcoholics Annonymous Support Group, Henry County Meals on Wheels, and a Haitian Ministry Group.
Troop 65 Information Sheet Troop 65 is a chartered partner with Stockbridge Presbyterian Church. The Troop is a part of Tussahaw District of the Flint River Council. AA meetings are held in the Fellowship Hall of Stockbridge Presbyterian Church on Monday and Thursday evenings each week at 7:00 pm.
Stockbridge Presbyterian serves as a drop-off and pick-up point for four routes in north Henry County for the Meals on Wheels Senior Services.
