WNL Bible Study

Wednesday Night Live Adult Bible Study has begun a new course based on the Maxie Dunham book, Keeping Company With the Saints. Brother Lawrence, Julian of Norwich, Teresa of Avila and other ancient Christian writers have much depth and wisdom to share with us, and their thoughts are more relevant now than ever. For example, William Law, born in 1686, wrote the following: "Sickness and health, prosperity and adversity, bless and purify a soul in the same degree...For the one who seeks God in everything is sure to find God in everything." Has that been true in your life? In what way? We'll compare these writings with the scriptures they're based on, and my guess is the discussions will be lively. This study group meetings on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm in the Conference Room. Come and explore the Word and life in general with your friends!
